1G What is this on coolant neck

What’s up fellas! This is an easy one. I’ve been tracking a slow coolant leak. What is this plastic piece with two ports on the thermostat housing? Is it still available? If not, can I just plug it?

Emission control thermovalve. We don’t have emissions in OH so I guess I can block it off. Anyone know the bolt size?

You can use a coolant temp sensor if u have an extra one. Can't remember the bolt size.

They are 3/8 bspt I bought a few packs of plugs off Amazon for cheap.

It was leaking from the upper hose and leaked down onto the ports. I thought coolant actually flowed through the valve but it doesn’t. Just needed to tighten the clamp.
