What is this noise my turbo is making?

Hey, I just put on my big 16g and when i rev my engine it make a flutter noise, a horrible flutter noise. It's not coming from the BOV but you can here it through the intake pipe. I'm not sure if the wastegate is opening properly or if the BOV isnt letting pressure out. I do have a crushed BOV. Let me know you you guys think. is your bov vacuum line connected? sounds to me like you missed it..... also seems like if you did connect it... bov maybe bad

compressor surge, but about your "bov" , it wont open at idle unless you rev the crap at it over and over, but then again ensure you hooked up that vacuum line correctly. as it can be a cause of compressor surge.

drive it, and check if the bov is opening if not then you found what was wrong.

My vacuum line was off in the video. It's been awhile since I took it off where does it connect to again? The intake pipe?

A vacuum source, usually from the intake manifold. That would cause your compressor surge as the pressure would have nowhere to vent. You are taking life off of your turbo!

No offense, but I'm sure all of us are curious how you got this far.

The BOV needs a vacuum and boost source, so it will need to be referenced to a port on the intake manifold.

a smart person will educate himself on what they have and how stuff works before proceeding to upgrade or replace stuff. it would be better for you to read on tech articles and threads that can expand your knowledge about you car, then go ahead and turn wrenches!!!
