My dad bought me this 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T from a dealer auction and he noticed it had a stainless steel exhaust. I realized its a turbo back, about 2.5 or 3inchs...no CAT (which is why my check engine soon light comes on)...

So I took as many pictures as my camera could hold (at the moment).. Please tell help me out because we are buying manufacture decals for the side of the car, and have room for one more..

Here are the pics.

From where the downpipe ends, to the end of the muffler is the catback.
Your downpipe eliminates the cat.

Alright.. Still a tad confusing but, ok! LOL

So in other words what everyone is saying its a POS ebay exhaust? Or its just off ebay? Thanks.

I use an exhaust system off ebay and it works fine. They aren't all a POS. I would use one before an Apex'i system because the resonators on the Apex'i aren't really 3" inside. It's just piping so there's no reason to replace it now. Unless it rusts through, just keep it, the brand isn't that important on an exhaust system. By the way, bumping isn't allowed.

looks like a chrome apex-i N1.... I HAVE IT TOO... ITS A TURBO BACK 3INCH EXHAUST SYSTEM... I MAY BE WRONG THO...!!!

Isn't the apexi exhaust a grey color? Every one I seen is except the for the muffler, looks like eBay exhaust wich isn't bad by any means, eBay exhausts perform just as good as name brands

Oh, and since I bumped, I desirve a ban. ROFL

Did you trip on your way into your car because you said "oh crap!" haha

I have an Apexi N1 and mine looks and sits a bit different. I does look like its just a knock-off Apexi N1 design muffler, doesnt mean its a bad exhaust though. It could sound worse, would be nicer to know what it sounded like at higher-rpm. Take it more than 3,500.

There is nothing wrong with it being Ebay, you just pay less and have some fitment issues occasionally which are still cheaper to get fixed than buy a name brand exhaust. Sounds good though, would sound better if you replaced all the resonators with 3" piping ;)

LOL I always have a bad back so getting up from kneeling on the ground wasn't the best feeling...
