Haha na, I am just getting my masters in biology. This was for a class in school, I also scanned some photos of my transmission parts after I broke 1st gear, to check for stress cracks.

Very, very cool! The smoothness of the turbine shaft looks really good (although I have no idea what a bad one would look like :p).

As an aside, some electron microscopes are actually able to see atoms now! Saw it on Nova recently.
