Bought a blown big 16G for cheap to rebuild and possibly upgrade to an 18g or 20g. Didn't feel any shaft play before taking it apart, but once I pulled it out I noticed some wear. Doesn't seem too bad, and didn't notice significant wear on the inside of the bearings. The batteries on my caliper are dead, so don't know exactly how much wear there is. My question is if anyone's re-used a turbine shaft in similar condition. I had meant for this to be a little side project/ budget re-build. However, I'll just buy a new one if that's the general consensus.
