Like the subject says, I am not sure what 7cm2 means. I have the hot side of my compressor sitting here with part number 78-11830 which is supposed to be 7cm2.

I was just wondering if I could take my dial calipers and measure something that is "7cm2".

Thanks

Which of these pics does that measurement refer to if applicable?

You can't measure any thing that is 7cm2 cause the two is "squared" meaning area. You would have to have some sweet calipers for that.

Thanks and LOL at uber cool dial calipers....thought it might have been cm squared but so seldom see a reference to that in the automotive world.

Thank you.

Picture 3 post 1.If you look straight down from the inlet on the housing. The wg hole should not be visable.

Porting opens that up.

As well in the same picture of the inlet. You can clearly see its been modified. The stock casting is supposed to be all smoothe..As you can see, yours is not all smoothe like that.
