Should this be happening if not what does it mean

When I do I blt I get a air leak that come through the top line of the bcs that goes to the intake. Should this be doing this? If not why is it doing it.

Your talking about the little pin hole in the fitting in the mbc? How many psi are you running, and how many psi are you checking for leaks at?

It's normal for there to be a little air coming from the bleed hole on the mbc, thats how it regulates boost.

So air shouldn't come through the top hose on bcs when doing blt? How does it work then ? Thank you spawnedx

It's alright simple mistake

What do you mean by come through, clarify a bit better. Like its leaking going into the bcs, between the hose and the nipple. Or when its not powered, its leaking through the bcs..

Is it leaking from the hose? Then just replace the hose, but now I do agree with the above statement, need more information.

Sorry. When I pump air into the turbo via BLT, there is the line on the bottom nipple of the bcs that goes to the nipple on the t25 and t's off to the wastegate. Then the top nipple of the bcs has a hose that goes runs to the injen intake. Should air be be coming out of the top line that runs to intake in blt?

Coming out of the top nipple rather. The hose isnt leaking.

Okay just to make sure I understand the BCS line that goes to the intake, basically a recirculation of the air it let's bypass to hit it's 12 PSI mark, is pushing air, or when you do the BLT and spray water and soap on it, it's bubbling out, because a BLT only covers air escaping a sealed system.

You're talking about the port that goes to the intake pipe, correct? Air should come through the top port, into the intake pipe when doing the BLT. When there's no power going to the BCS, it's open, bleeding the air so that it doesn't actuate the wastegate actuator.

Easiest way to put this. In a blt. should air go through the bottom nipple and come out of the top one. in the boost leak test

This is exactly the answer i was looking for.. I didnt know that if it should have been circulating with the car off

I had injector seal leaks like crazy. Fixed 3 of them cause i dropped one.. But ill use this sealant stuff we have to fix tomoro. Also the biss screw should leak a little air shouldnt it ?
I will do a complete checkdown of it tomoro

BISS screw should not leak at all.

Definitely re-do the boost leak test and resolve every last one of them. I am 99.9% sure you have a boost leak.

Alrighty. It sounds like it to me also. But I just couldn't think of where they would be coming from. Everytime I fail to remember the soapy water. Now, if the biss screw is in fact leaking, do i just get a new o-ring for it ?

You will need some sort of datalogger to do this properly, otherwise you will want to have a shop do this.

There is no real reliable way to monitor it without a datalogger or access to a Live Feed code scanner.
