Without the spacer, (which is only $3) You will have a one inch gap between the block and the Intermediate shaft bearing bracket. Try to tighten it down and it will bend or snap the bolts.

Most of the time, guys either remove the A/C
1. No longer works..
2. It get's in the way of getting anything done
3. It no longer works.
4. I guess wieght reduction but... I bet my money on "It no longer works"

It is a horrible situation and very true... This is something the vendors need to stock more.. God, anything with moving parts on our car should be stocked more..

I ordered a spacer two bolts and two washers from mitsu.. The guy said he didnt know if it was for a car with ac or without.. But for everything its 17 bucks Lol i hope its the stuff i need IDK what the spacer even looks like and cant remember for the life of me what the bolts look like haha.. Djsniperwolf do you got pics of the spacer and bolts so i know if im getting the right stuff when i go to pick it up????

Well last night I rebuilt the front drivers axle from my spare awd car because the one on my car started sounding really bad.

Today I'm going to test fit my new rims and Mickey Thompson ET Steet radial tires. :thumb: Maybe do a couple test launches at my spot if all goes well :shhh:

Unfortunately I do not have a pic with me at the moment. I will post one as soon as I get to my computer. Below is a link of the spacer, I am pretty sure I already posted a picture of my intermediate shaft and bracket.

DSM Graveyard - Your #1 Source for DSM Parts!

In reality, it is a part for a car with A/C but you are using it to remove the A/C, so it is kind of confusing. Give Jon a call at DSMGraveyard he can confirm for you that you atleast ordered the right parts. Let him know Mike referred you as I had ordered the same parts. He will know exactly what your talking about.

Well today I stared at it in amazement, as it is the most stubborn car imaginable. Regardless of money or time spent in an attempt to drive it. It fights back with all it's might. Leaving me wanting to smash it. I swapped the 6 bolt in, couldn't get the clutch bled, then it wouldn't crank, then i replaced the starter and mysteriously it still wouldn't crank so I wired in a push button starter which gets it cranking. BUT!! She of course STILL WILL NOT RUN.....2 ecus, 3 coils, 3 transistors, 2 1g cas, and much much more and I have still failed to get spark on all 4 cylinders. It only wants to fire on 2....and It really doesn't appreciate time or money being spent on it. It just laughs and sits on it's fat ass in my garage pissing me off...

Looked at it, kicked a tire, went back indoors.

I'd like it to be real epic though. Like I was a comic book super hero (since my car is the main villian/nemesis at this point) I'd go to the front and of course I'd have insane strength.

As I booted the front bumper pushing the engine into the cabin it would smash through my garage doors and ting off the wall out there and out into the street where it would have to be swurved around by some bastard in a running/driving eclipse just to really rub it in.....

And right after that I'd be like " That is what I did to my dsm today...."

went to the garage stared at it , walked around, went back in side ( I do this a hundred times a day, in the middle of a rebuild waiting on the internals and gaskets to come in,) and started porting the head again, I can only work for 15 min before my dremel dies., should have gotten a corded one. parts will be in tomorrow so then off to the machine shop for boring and crank balance.

Removed all sound dedining from interior with dry ice (lots of fun LOL), rewired fuel pump and installed walbro 255 pump.

Did you delete all the extra vacuum lines??

Yessir, all hoses removed, capped off the TB, blockoff plate on EGR and everything. Soap in a bottle to look for leaks, alls good. Dont know wtf the problem is, just idles hi then when its warmed up idles up and down.

As stated in another thread, I found the problem, inner TB gasket got folded over somehow during install and there was a slight gap between TB and the intake manifold. Got a new gasket, and some RTV and a lil more elbow grease and its runnin great now . I guess when your anxious to get stuff done, sometimes u pay for it...Good thing gaskets are cheap!

Hooked a batter charger up to my GSX and played music for a few hrs while i worked on my Camaro!

in stalled wideband, drove out of parking lot, hit a rock on sensor and tore the thing right out!!

just kidding :) but i did install the wideband. now to get tuning. oh oh oh and new konig rims!!!!
