That's probably dragging calipers on warped rotors. I thought I needed a tire balance, but after I replaced my rotors and loosened-up my caliper sliders she was smooth, like butter.

That's good news to hear. My brakes are shot and the new ones should be here by Wednesday so let's hope that's the problem.

Finished installing 99 gsx bumper covers on my 95 tsi.Going in for a fresh coat of black paint this week.

Be sure to check for dragging pads when you're done. I re-did mine, double-checked all of the pins, and I still got a blue, smelly, right rear brake: One of the p-brake mechanisms was sticky. It just needed a little grease.

Finally finished pulling the motor.. Forgot what a bi*** it is to get out of there... Tommorrow i go into clean mode and clean the bay and motor as well as repaint any spots that have scraped off... Also to remove the carrier barring bolts that snapped off and then she goes back together..

Well 2 months ago, I rebuilt everything. 8 Beers later.. I Forgot to install my A/C Delete spacer. And blew the guts out of my Intermediate shaft bearing...

Lol there seems to be a lot of guys doing fixes for not installing that spacer myself included.. I had to pull my motor because the bolts that hold the carrier barrings to the block snapped off.. I had no idea there needed to be one but i do now LOL..

Attempted to go tuning out in the Everglades but mother nature reared her ugly head again.

Can you elaborate more on this a/c compressor as to where it goes and what it does? I'm going to be ditching my a/c here shortly and I don't want to break anything.

There is a spacer you need to buy/cut down the bracket and use that.. I guess it somehow helps with the weight or something anyways it prevents the carrier barring bolts from snapping as happened to me and so many other people LOL.... If you dont buy the spacer or cut down the bracket they will break i promise i bought mine brand new and they broke within a year.. My cars been sitting for a month while ive been waiting to get a motor hoist now im waiting for my biddies ez out and for the parts to come in..

Without the spacer, (which is only $3) You will have a one inch gap between the block and the Intermediate shaft bearing bracket. Try to tighten it down and it will bend or snap the bolts.

Most of the time, guys either remove the A/C
1. No longer works..
2. It get's in the way of getting anything done
3. It no longer works.
4. I guess wieght reduction but... I bet my money on "It no longer works"

It is a horrible situation and very true... This is something the vendors need to stock more.. God, anything with moving parts on our car should be stocked more..
