I just used a regular floor jackDropped the transmission. Now I am debating with myself how I will put the transmission back in.

.I started using engine hoists like over 10 years after I bought my Galant. Makes it so much easier doing transmissions. Literally cake on these cars. When you do it on a RWD V8 like my Mustang on jackstands, then you will know what pain feels like.
Anytime you need a trans jack let me know. Ive used a hoist for many years also. I thought an awd trans hangs nicely from a single bolt on the mount holesI started using engine hoists like over 10 years after I bought my Galant. Makes it so much easier doing transmissions.
