finally fixed my door pannel and blew out my hatch drains and installed an optima in the hatch, now I don't have to worry about my batter dying on me.

Had to modify the new catalytic converter I bought. I cut both flanges off of it not to mention cut the flange off the down pipe and cat-back system. I welded a 3 inch pipe on both ends of the catalytic converter and then welded it to the downpipe and cat-back system. Now my exhaust doesn't leak or anything and it's nicely snug!

Also had to go to Advance Auto and buy new battery cable terminals and buy new back hatch struts.

Just got done, painting the interior and laying down the truck bed liner paint in the footwells and putting the wiring harness back in. Getting ready to pick up my Fidanza flywheel from the machine shop..had to have one of the pressure plate boltholes worked on as the guy I bought it off, didn't tell me it had a snapped bolt in it. I usually can do this kind of work no problem, but yesterday the damned Easy-out snapped:ohdamn: Thankfully not any damage to the threads:pray:

found more wiring that the previous owner did. Everything he had wired was a disaster, here is an example. this is how all the injector clips were wired. one fell off in my hand. its what was causing my injector circuit issue

Finally got around to getting done with the stuff I've put off doing for almost a year.
Changed the fuel filter
Installed my ported 2g manifold.
Finally got a stubborn lug nut drilled out.
Finished my brakes.
Dropped the subframe to clean up some light surface rust and clean up the rear diff.

Tomorrow.....clutch install and drive the beast around a bit! :D

I did a boost leak test and checked the gap on the spark plugs. Then had a fun test drive.

Went and looked at it. Sat in it and ran it through the gears, making noises. (No trans in it LOL)

Cursed it for making alright power for being "junk", which caused me to trash a year old clutch disc (that has under 5k miles on it)

Yesterday I started tearing it down for some serious maintenance. I have the turbo, intercooler, TB, etc. off already. Just need the intake manifold and some other misc. stuff.

Anyone got any tips for removing the bottom bolts on the intake manifold?

i replaced my old coilover sleeves with tein flex coilovers and a b+m short shifter!!! really excited!!!:D:hellyeah:

My clutch went out a couple months ago so I work pulling my transmission. I got both axle out, cross member dropped, starter removed. I just have to unbolt the transmission and remove the last motor mount and she plop right out. I'll save that for another day, getting too cold.

I'm installing an ACT 2100, ACT flywheel, stainless steel clutch line, new master, new slave, new clutch fork+pivot ball and having the transmission rebuilt by Jacks. I'm very excited. =D
