1- Got some Buschur Power added from their throttle shaft seals @STM

2- Made a list with estimated times for everything else that needs to be done before the car turns over. Figuring about 18hrs more of wrenching, to get me away from the dreaded 5 month jack stand pose.

Thanks Kei, that's what I like to hear minus the ghettoness haha. Wasn't too hard at all.

The sad part is : Now you have ME wanting to do something similar. ;P Though I don't think I'd use a material that would stand out so much when I popped the hood.

As for today's task..... I woke up, welded the gaping hole (that's what she said) shut inside my exhaust manifold, and put it all back together. Car sounds wonderful now. With my luck, however, that weld will chip off and destroy my turbo. Haha. =/ As long as it lasts until my new exhaust manifold comes in, I suppose...

Started to pull my downpipe to weld an 02 bung in for my wideband sensor, i really hate welding upside down.

pulled the turbo back out along with the manifold and got the teeny piece of metal that holds the hood latch welded back together. she's going to the shop soon... like hopefully tomorrow. then i can clean up the shop and FINALLY put all the damn tools where they need to be so i can find them again. i have a really bad habit of setting something down then i can't find it 10 minutes later when i want it again. :ohdamn: i blame having a kid for my memory loss :p

Looked at it..... looked at it, sighed and decided to take off the valve cover to shave and polish it instead of fixing all the f%$^ing boost leaks if found yesterday!! WTF

It was kinda nice out today so i went outside pulled the car cover off and looked at my dsm and said what a money pit started to finish my wire tuck its nice when there is no motor and trans under the hood to do all that wiring. Then i worked on the motor for a bit and made a custom coil bracket turned out pretty nice just need some nuts to finish it so left that for tomorrow and then worked on the 2g dsm in my garage for a while trying to get all the right parts for that pos its a headache since it was all messed up when it got brought to me That was my dsm day LOL

I put some EVO brake calipers and rotors on it.

I went outside to do some electrical wiring in my Talon to find that all my royal purple ATF leaked out from a bad seal for the torque converter. After being pissed off about a waste of over $70 in ATF I was looking and thinking of what the possible cause was. I found out that I was never given the dowel pins that aligned the trans to the engine and the torque converter is putting excessive force on the upper part of he seal causing a gap on the bottom that the fluid can leak from.

After saying well it to late to save it because its all gone. I went to soldering and swapping pins on harnesses to get an auto AWD harness to mate to my 5-speed harnesses. After looking at the plugs and and swapping out 2 connectors I gave up and went inside and had some pizza rolls and looked threw all the pictures of my recent DSM's and all the 5 years of hard restoration work I put into them.

Cried a bit on the thoughts of having crushed my 2nd DSM ever owned and thoughts of anger at the friend I sold my 1993 eclipse to because hes gonna have it crushed. The 1993 eclipse was my first DSM ever owned and it holds allot of memories.

Floormats

They have 1G also.

Might have to get a set of those 2g Eclipse floormats in Grey to replace my Ralliart floor mats which are also Grey.Oh & on the 24th got the rebuilt head on my GS-T also replaced all my timing related components with OEM parts & Gates Belts & ARP head studs & Cometic head gasket & a new OEM water pump with an oil change with a OEM oil filter with NGK spark plugs & a OEM crank position sensor & my valve cover changed & my FP Race exhaust manifold installed it's my garage now waiting for me to drive it later & I'm waiting for my New NGK spark plug wire's to show up so I can change those as well.I'll also be looking to some HID's this week for my GS-T.I'm thinking 55watt High & 35watt Low beams & 35watt fogs.

When I was driving my car it felt like I lost a lot of power. Floored it a couple of times and heard a whistle from the turbo... very loud whistle.
Got bored today and decided to replace some bov, turbo, wategate hoses and found that my taped bov to pressure source was disconnected along with my hallman pro. Plug it up, zip tied it and took it for a spin. Felt better but not what I wanted so I turned up the knob on my hallman controller. Boom... Power baby!

Edit:
Also back passenger seat had a lot of water and I couldn't find a leak from all the rain lately. Decided to mess around my spare tire area and found a lake covering my spare tire. I wish I could of taken a picture so ya'll could see it. Used my water vaccum and clean it.

ANY BODY KNOWS HOW THAT HAPPENS or had it happen to them. Chime in please!

check the seal around your hatch... could be rotten. i know every time i open the hatch after a good rain water runs into the back seat -nods- and you do know there is a plug in the bottom of the hatch to let water out... right?

Yah I saw that plug earlier. Do you mean the one under the spare tire beneath the reservoir? Thanks for the heads up!

I'll check around that area. I'll be expecting some rain soon so I HAVE TO MAKE HASTE!

I went outside to go to school and it was windy and raining. Made sure the car cover didn't come off and sighed. My poor DSM needs fuel and a state inspection.

Changed manual trans fluid, rotated tires, checked oil, cleaned oil gauge sender contacts.

Finally got the 255 pump in and hopefully friday or sat. i can throw the ACT 2600 in along with my Fidanza 8lb flywheel and some other goodies......:sneaky:
