I want that fmic. Finally got on the road. Found the last bits of deficiances that need correction

Pulled off the intake and the upper innercooler tube. Oh, and took off shifter bushings. Gotta get to that tranny! It'll be my first time putting a clutch in. Wish me luck.

Swithed to Ethynol-Free 93. and as i left the pump i lost all boost. LOL freaked me out but i highly doubt they have anything to do with each other. so now begins operation: FIND BOOST LEAK! LOL

(Note the usage of a 2g Throttlebody elbow. I noticed I could fit the 1g throttlebody elbow inside of the 2g one, so I'm using the bigger one. Hoping for a little extra flow into those giant 1g runners. I guess it's also noteworthy that this is a 1.6L Hyundai head. I'm hoping the extra CR helps bring out a few extra ponies.)

This may not be as much as some of you guys can pull off in a day, but I am proud of myself. I have torn decently far into the engine of this car, and I've never even driven a DSM before.
:) I hope this endeavor is worth it.

Ordered Knuckle Kits, Upper Control Arms, and Wheel Bearings for the front... Basically the entire front suspension will be new and OEM :thumb:

Started fabbing my custom catback since i already have a megan dp... and trying to polish my fuel rail. also purchased a 14b with evo 3 exhaust mani for 40 bux from a friend down the street. Win win.

I put fuel in it yesterday night. Mine is running pretty damn good. Theres minor things I have to do but overall it's great.
Like Gofer stated... damn it feels good to be a gangster.

Went to the stealership and bought some new mounting tabs for my Talon side strakes cost me $20 ouch. Also got a quote on a new airbag they said it'd be $300 OMG Screw that I'll just glue down my old one ROFL

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Damn, it feels good to be a gangster and have a working DSM.

:dsm:

RIght with ya!! I finally drove my spyder home last night for its first "real" road test.. Made it home flawlessly, drove around town today a bit.. I need to dial this thing in real bad.. Pretty rich under load.. :hellyeah:

Hit a snag with the car for awhile today. I unknowingly dropped the head on with the throttle cable stuck between the intake mani and the support. That was a b!tch to get out without taking everything apart again. Installed the coilpack, and bolted the turbo onto the 2g manifold. Dropped one of the plastic riser things the fuel injector rail sits on and it dissappeared into the abyss  so I gotta get one tomorrow.

Got my fuse box 90% done. Need to do a couple of the main power wires, run some wires for various aftermarket accessories and then loom it all up.
