So I sold the car in the pics but I really want to acquire these two parts from somewhere. Can you tell me what specific brand the intake is? Notice where the recirc tube is and it seemes to be sturdy metal so I think it may be a good brand.

The intake pipe is def. Dejon Powerhouse.

Looks like a 1g pipe for 2g mas setup

Looks like an old FP intake, and that's the F&F hood. I think Paul Walker sells those at his shop.
As for the 8' trailer I think thats a '74 fleetwood.(wild guess)

Edit, yeah doh your right thats dejon.

Im sorry to brake it to you but both of those items have been discontinued for a while now. The intake pipe is the old version dijon tool pipe that they don't make anymore. So it will take some work to find them, but neither company makes them anymore. But the internet is a wonderful tool so much luck. Im sure its not inpossible but might take a little while to find them.

Hmmm well for some reason the hard pipe that I have now doesnt let me use even that style k&n because the pipe seems to be too long or something. Heres a shot.

So as you see the last owner had to use a retarded mini filter to make it fit. Do you guys recommend a pipe that will allow me to fit that style K&N in the first pics?

Also, nice F&F jokes  but believe it or not I got A LOT of compliments on this hood, and no not from the ricers out there. But to each theyre own.

injen has the same style intake pipe (what im running) and it comes with a pretty good size filter but not oval...try their web site and see if they sell filter by it self.

just my two cents. haha

I'm pretty sure that the intake set up you have will fit just fine.Thats how mine is and I make it fit. It's a bit of a pita.Put the coupler on the pipe and put the pipe on like your going to install it to the turbo just dont do it yet.Just pretty much have the intake all put together with the maf and whatnot.Just dont put the filter on yet.Put the filter in the location were it should be ,You have to wedge the filter kind of under the fender then lift up both the filter and pipe at kind of an angle then the bottom part of the filter should be on the bottom part of the pipe.Push both down and put the filter on.I also trimmed the coupler a bit to make it just have barly enough room.Like the part of the pipe that hooks to the turbo is metal to metal.I know this is all jumbled and hard to understand. But I hope it helps you out just a bit.

That looks like the Dejon intake pipe. If you google it you can find pictures.
That's the ViS Invader hood. I had that on my 95 eclipse. Looks great from the front but I hated the look from the side.

That would be the el cheapo ebayer I have it was $24.99 and it is too long. I tried shortening it and have never had much luck in getting the coupler on the turbo side to stay put. Maybe you'll have better luck though :thumb:

couldnt have said it better myself LOL.

I completely understand what you're saying my friend. I hate going to bed with the dsm having problems and I played it out in my head last night, and this is exactly what I thought of doing. Thanks! :thumb:

Hell yes! The front view is pretty crazy but from the side it sticks up a bit too much. When my friend first saw it he thought the front end had been smashed in. ROFL

I also thought of shortening the coupler but I think this may be my last resort. Thanks!

I have that same intake pipe (the longer one) I had to trim a small section out from the inner fender area. That allows me to tuck my filter up under the fender. Fits fine now but I have to slid the filter side under first then attach the end to the turbo.

Then I installed a piece of aluminum shield to stop heat from the engine, and added a 7" round plastic duct pipe from the front end fascia into the filter. I also put a rubber piece off a scrap talon hatch seal on the top of the aluminum divider piece. This helps it seal on the hood when it shuts. Keeping the cool air on the filter and the HOT air OFF!

Setup looks sweet man, is that a fipk filter? I can't make it out to good. I'm going to give it a try once it stops raining...

I have the Dejon intake pipe and K&N FIPK. You can see it (sort of) in my avatar. I'll try to find the larger image.

Nice! Is that a 2g dejon intake pipe? Which one of them specifically? Maybe throw a link? Thanks

Ok found it! But I started thinking, and thats never good. haha. Ebay knockoffs are always derived from quality products like, Dejon. What if I get a 1G intake ebay deal, will this intake pipe have about the same tight radii as the dejon? I mean it should since those tight curves are meant to be there ini order to fit in the engine bay. How does this logic sound? $150 can go a long way and I dont justify it on a pipe...but I do want a hard pipe.

If memory serves correctly I tryed to buy the vader about 2 years ago and it was discountinued, but they sent me the "vader 2" hood which is basically the same thing, and the vent would be right over the turbo (if i had one) so if i were you I would look into that if you are very itnerested in a hood like that.

Anything you get for a 1g will fit space wise, because the 1g has less space from the fender area to turbo inlet. But remember the stock 1g MAF has a round connection, not oval like the 2g MAF.

The original picture you posted is the 1g pipe made by DEJON Powerhouse for a 2g MAF. You can tell this since the BOV connection is closer to the turbo on a 1g. The one that Kenamond posted is the correct 2g intake pipe as you can see the BOV tube is closer to the MAF. DEJON makes these to be as close as stock replacement "Bolt On" as it can be, therefore you can tell which one it is easily.

Here's my old 2g maf in a 1g intake pipe when they used to call themselves DEJON|TOOL:
(As you can tell it's made for a 1g based on the positioning of the BOV return tube)

Yea I will in the future. I was just curious as to how rare these were. Thanks

Yeah I thought about that as soon as I typed my post. :ohdamn: I think I may go with the 2g hard pipe I have now, and look into a smaller K&N. This may be the cheapest way to go with a hard pipe set up. Thanks!

I have fit an ebay injen style intake pipe for a 2g WITH K&N FPIK. It's a tight fit but it works, BUT the mounting tab included will obviously not work.

The filter in the first picture should fit just right with the injen style ebay knockoffs. Those are the type of filters included with them anyways.

If you are having problems, you shouldnt.

That intake pipe in the first pic look sto be a 1g pipe that was used on a 2g. Horrible IMO, look at the unnecessary hose used to recirculate. The appropriate dejon one for the 2g or the ebay one can use the stock recirc hose just fine.

Yeah that's actually my old upper radiator hose. LOL

Oh and the filter in the pics is BEAT man and looks dumb. Will the fipk fit with a hard uicp in the stock location? I picture that giving me problems. I'll have to go take a look. I DO know you have the VR fmic, that's why I ask...
