Yea, my daily driver had hard IC piping stock style routing through that hole.
And the intake I bought for it was the Injen knockoff.
Only reason I tried the K&N FPIK on it was with the included filter, it would just flop right in its place with no mounting.
However when I put the FPIK it would fit just right to where the fpik would push right on the edge around where you put turn signal bulb in the headlight so it wouldnt be all floppy.
Again not utilizing the stock mounting bracket included in the FPIK because it pushes it way beyond that point.
But it is a very tight fit, I kept switching every so often just because I was weird like that, but I know from my experience I got it to work.
