I'm running a B16G @15psi right now with 450's @ 43(2G stock) psi and a 190fp on my other Talon and it all seems to run right at the edge of detonation but never knocks  . Now I am planning to upgrade to an Evo 3 on my 92Laser RST with 450's and the same setup what is the limit as far as Boost and fuel? should I run @ lower boost since the E3 has a larger flow capacity @ the same fuel pressure ? maybe (B=12psi x F=43psi)

To answer your question, I would keep boost stock. The evo 3 flows more air and if your on the edge now you will certainly take the leap over if you stay at 15 psi. Run stock boost and try not to do any WOT's until you upgrade your fuel injectors. I suggest you get 650's which some say is overkill, but it will keep you safe, and I see you already have a e-prom computer you can easily get a 650 chip to control your injectors. You already have the computer and the fuel pump so you may as well stay safe and get the injectors. It's better to spend $300 now instead of $1000-$2000 on a new motor or rebuild.

i think the evo3 turbo maxes around 500hp maybe 550. im rusty on my dsm knowledge. you would need bigger injectors like he said.

Don't spread false information. No Evo3 has came close to 500hp. I guess I would agree you are pretty rusty on your Dsm knowledge. :notgood:

SBR got 400whp out of it, but that was on a stroker. I'm not sure if a 2 liter could achieve that as easily.

First mistake was not reading what is says in red above the text box you wrote your reply in.

The second was posting information that is not correct. I would suggest a good reading of the rules and the red text above the responce area.

As for the original question you should get at least 550's for that turbo, but like it has already been said I would with something a bit larger. This will give you room to grow and you will have less to worry about when it comes to duty cycle.

Please don't just throw out numbers that you've "heard about" here in the forums. We'd rather people only post from experience. Regurgitating hearsay can be dangerous when it comes to giving advice about modifying cars. Let's try and keep the info that we're posting as accurate as possible.

To the original poster - I would also suggest going with 550's or even 650's. Be advised that if you go with 650's, you'll want to plan for some immediate compensation with a new EPROM from Keydiver and fine tune with an AFC. To give you more control over everything, you'll want to start saving up for a DSMlink. I'm not sure what the boost levels are on the EVO3 turbos before they become inefficient, so I won't guess.
