What all should I replace when installing trans/TC

Long story but I'm pulling my '90 trans/TC and putting a recently rebuilt 23 spline trans and T/C in. What seals or maint. parts should I replace before I install the new trans? I'm assuming seals on the T-case but is there anything else I'll need or should do while the trans is out of the car? Any advise is greatly appreciated. Oh yeah this is going into a '90 GSX manual.

New pilot bearing/bushing and a new rear main seal

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Thanks! Anything else? I've read somewhere about a longer shifter rod or something when going from a '90 to a '91+??
