Clutch arm play, should I replace?

The clutch fork on my AWD 1G has about 2mm of play in it. If you grap the fork from under the car and apply some force to it, it moves up and down a little. The clutch pedal itself has different engagement spots based on how much power I'm putting down. No big deal though, the clutch is slipping badly. I do have the entire clutch slave cylinder and other components replaced, but the arm I believe has 180K miles on it. I am asking if the play in the clutch fork is normal or not?:thumb:
 
The fork sounds like it is normal! There will be a little bit of play as long as its not more like a 1/2 inch of play, if it were then your pivot ball had probably snapped. When you put your 2600 in your car your going to have more of a chance of of snapping the pivot ball, and clutch fork. Some people on this board have said that there is an aftermarket bilet aluminium fork that might be stronger than the stock one. It might be worth it to check it out.
 
I just ordered a new clutch pivot ball and fork and am going to have the old one replaced anyway. Can't hurt to do it and its only 50$. Better safe than sorry your tranny blew up in your right leg! JK , hehehe.
 
Already ordered it w/ an SS clutch hose, NSK metal throwout bearing, and the 2600 clutch/pressure plate. I have to wait on the Fidanza flywheel, but in a few weeks I can get the whole thing put in. Its gonna be fun!!!
