Hey guys, please dont bash. I'm restoring my 1990 eclipse gs-t and I love the style of the 2nd gen high rise spoiler. I really hate the look of the really crappy riced spoilers, but I really like the factory oem high rise look. I was curious as to what you're guy's opinion about it, or if you have one. I've seen very few pictures of this actually put on a 1st gen, but I like the look.

I actually seen a highrise on a 1g in person before..It looked like barf..But it's your car..Also If you decide you want it on your car, try finding one in the classifieds..It wil be cheaper than the 250$ price tag on the link you posted..

I think if you make it match the paint on your car it could look good. I personally wouldn't put that on my car but if you dig it then go for it. At least its better than slapping an eBay Aluminum Park Bench Spoiler on it!

Can't say I'd go for it. I like the hatch spoiler they have for the 1g though, maybe you can call it a hatch visor (fits on the window and stick out a bit)

Well i see a flaw in it.. the radio antenna!! Its goes through the wing, but the wing is bolted to the hatch. even if its not bolted to the hatch, the hatch would hit the wing when trying to open it!

Making it NON Functional [ ] in a daily used car, and in my opinion not worth it! Plus i like the stock wing best on the 1g's IMO!

The "Highrise" the OP posted is too high. And as stated it does not flow with the lines of the car. I would keep looking OP. That one 4Lurker4 posted looks good IMO.

1G's look best, IMO, lowered on nice rims with tinted windows and maybe a carbon fiber hood. That's it.

If you have a bodykit then that spoiler Might look good. But I saw a spoiler that looks like that, it was on a 1g plymouth laser it was horrible. I had to see it everytime I go to work.

In my hood..HA ha ha..Your not in Denver..I've been to the hood in Denver..One wrong turn and I ended up in the hood..I bet all the people were laughing at us, we stuck out like a sore thumb..Next time I pay more attention to the gps and don't take the turn before the turn I needed..

I can see where you're coming from, wanting to update your 1g with a wing, but please, not that one. A clean, OEM-looking 1g, lowered on a nice set of wheels will go a long way.
