+1 for the Parts Dinosaur everything if you haven't done so yet. I got all my replacement shit from him when I rebuilt my first motor, and everything needed again when I swapped to my built block...great guy, great service :thumb:
 
I just wanted to say PartsDinosaur is amazing and anyone looking for parts should check them out.
I had a bunch of card problems because the internet decided to submit my payment 6 times and Bruce worked with me to get the problem fixed.

PartsDinosaur is by far the best online parts store i've ever worked with

Also motor is getting honed right now. I get it monday then it goes back together.
Should be hearing that BOV within 2 weeks. Very happy with how smooth this project is going.

Turbo is fine. Zero shaft play.
wasn't used very long by the last guy.

Nothing new to report. Pistons get in today.

With belts it's more expensive but not terrible.
I'll have to pick one up later this week.
Man this project is getting expensive haha.
 
Man valves are a pain in the butt. ha ha
got my valve seals in last night.

Can't for the life of my get the old pistons out of the rods that stupid pin is really stuck.
Did you guys take them somewhere to be pressed out?

I forgot my book at home and i need to buy a better torque wrench today aynone for the torque spects for the head bolts and the torque spects for the valve train?

unrelated question.
Is my hahn turbo larger then the stock GST turbo? or are they pretty much the same thing as far as there ability to boost?

all hahn 16g's are bigger than the t25 and the 14b. the hahn non adjustable wastegates wil determine your boosting capabilities LOL.
 
True the wastegate will keep it from boosting high PSI.
But thanks to my Manual Boost controller the wastegate kinda gets outsmarted. :)

Well guys still waiting on my dang pistons they where stuck to the rods so i sent them to someone who has a press.

Feel like summer will be over and i'll not have a DSM yet. haha
But i'm enjoying the project.
 
If you made your downpipe could you pm me with pictures and what parts you used and bends to make it. I'm having a little bit of a problem with that part of my turbo build for my car. I have access to a bend machine but you have to type in the bend angles and i'm not really sure which one a should use for it.
 
My 420A turbo project is on hold because i still have not gotten my rods back from the machine shop.
its making me really mad.
I'm not sure how i'm going to do my down pipe ether it's the main thing i'm also stuck on.

Hahn sells there 3-bolt exhaust flange, just buy some flanges from them and have an exhaust shop make you a 3" downpipe and exhaust for the same price it would cost just to buy hahns downpipe. just a thought goodluck man

Thats just what i wanted to hear.
Even know it looks like i'm going to put my Hahn Super 16G on my GST and the 14B on my GS.
Want the larger turbo on the motor that can handle more boost.
Now the real question is why do i need two boosted cars? haha i have a sickness when it comes to cars i need help.

Wait a minute... you put the Hahn S16G on your GS-T, and the 14B on your GS? The flanges should be incompatible. The 14B has the MHI flange, while the S16G and Hahn manifold have the T3 flanges. Unless you swapped exhaust housings...
