I finally got my car back from the muffler shop today and I cranked it up. I drove it and hit the gas hard I was expecting a loud exhaust sound like usual before I went turbo, but it was nice and quiet not so raspy, when I changed gears my RFL BOV told everyone my story. The turbo I used was used T3 turbo and I guess the factory boost level was set around 3-5 PSI not much so I have to make me a boost controller, but I race my boss, he has a ### scion Tc and I was starting to leave him until I had to hit brakes. All I have to do now is get some exhaust tape and wrap my downpipe and radiator hose, and get a new boost guage( mine is like lazy -10 right now). I guess I also need a missing link as well, because the car hates going slow I would be in like 1st spinning about 3000 rpms slowly accelerating behind a truck and it will studdard, but when I hit the gas it is good. sorry about this long post, but I am so excited to have my car back turbo charged!!!!!!!!!!Thanks for all of ya'll help throughout this process.
Thanks
Andy

Nope not yet, I think I am running rich, but not too bad when I hit the gas my A/F guage lights all of the green plus some of the yellow. I rather be too rich than too lean any day though. The studdarding went away though it hasn't done it today since when I was behind the truck. Is it me or is it really hot under the hood with the turbo in there. Right now I have put A/C tape around my radiator hose to try to keep it cool until I can go get some exhaust tape. The guys at the muffler shop forgot to twist my radiator cap all the way back on and half of my antifreeze went everywhere on my engine so at first I thought I messed up my coolant line somewhere. I tightend it back up before I left. I went home and was about to show my dad the car I looked at temp guage and it was sitting in the red so we poured cold water on the radiator and cooled it down and I had to put water in the overflow jug, but it has kept it cool since then though. I know this may sound ricey but do any ya'll know how to make the BOV louder( is tighten make it louder or loosen it to make it louder) I think they install all of my washers in there too should I take them out). It sounds too quiet. Tomarrow I will post pics of the set-up. But first I must warn you all the muffler shop could do was crush bend. Nowhere around here could do mandrel bent, plus I was ready to get my car back, I hate downtime! thanks

make the RFL louder..... are you nuts? Your only boosting a 3-5 psi? Your RFL is going to be "RFL" when you get to 8-10psi... your going to go def...

Congradulations. I bet it feels like a whole different car now.

About the bov, Is it recirculated? I have the same bov recirculated at 19psi you can only hear a faint sound. When vented, You can hear it from BLOCKS away.. My mother heard me from the main street, In our hall way with no windows. The main street is almost 2 blocks away. It's REALLY LOUD... I doubt you'd like it. :shhh:

Can 420a's even recirculate, the ECU doesn't need that extra air because it shouldn't account for it right?

Thnak you guys for ya'lls comments, but I wish I can turn the boost up to 8, right now I am only pushing maybe 4-6 PSI, even when I tried to homemade MBC it still only open at 5 even with the screw all the way down. Even when I unplugged the hose to the wastegate I still only get 6 PSI, Anyways thanks for your comments , but the boost bug has bitten me and I want 8PSI NOW!!!!!!!!!! When I first hit 5-6 PSI I was like damn, but not I fell as if I am going slow, so I need to get to 8, any suggestions?
thanks

Suggestion number 1: buy a MBC and save the headache of worring if yours works or not.
Suggestion number 2: Better start saving for a motor rebuild as it seems that boost bug has gotten to ya, and even when you do get to 8psi, you will want to go higher.

Good luck
