Weird rattling when turning.

Ok, I have this odd rattling noise when i turn the wheel, namely to the left, but sometimes to the right. I thought it was my alternator, since it had a bolt that walked out, but that's fixed now, and I'm really out of ideas. Had the balljoints checked. I know this is vague, but just looking for ideas what it could be.

i dunno if this is gonna help any, but i remember when my roommate had a bad right wheel bearing when he would turn to the right, car would kinda vibrate and rattle a little.
I dunno if this is your case tho. But for some reason when i read it i thought of it.
