Weird cut off problem?

I have a 1997 Eclipse RS with 205XXX miles. New battery alternator plugs wires and other parts. It will randomly cut off though. All the connections are good. no CEL. When I first turn it on sometimes it will do it, and start right back up without a problem. Sometimes after I've been driving for hours it will cut off and roll start instantly and again it acts like nothing happened.

I'm completely dumbfounded. Help.

check battery cables if they are loose. Have it idle in your drive way as well and see if it turns off.

check all your grounds also your wires to you ecu is it a auto or standard check the wires to the fuel pump
