full throttle cut off problem

Hi I'm new to the dsm family. But I recently bought a 98 eclipse gst automatic with 120k miles. It drives fine. But I have a problem when I hit full trottle it cuts off and bugs down any help?? I don't know much about the car but it does have some performance to it when I hit full throttle my boost gauge reads 20 lbs before it bugs down
