installed a new clutch, used the kits TOB. Slave and master aren't leaking and have been bleed. My issue I'm having is, when I push the clutch in it's smooth until I get about an inch from the floor and then there's a noticeable notch/spring/resistance. I checked the clutch fork and it's not hitting the housing, also the position of the clutch fork is pretty much in the middle of the window.

What could be causing this weird pedal feel issue?

I have 2 2G's & both clutch pedals have this issue although one is much more noticeable than the other. I have spent quite a bit of time over the past few years trying to figure out what could be causing this with no luck yet.

All I'm concerned about is if this will effect drive ability.

To get a perfect feel, engagement/disengagement everything must be correct, flywheel step height, all way down to clutch fork, pivot ball (shim if needed) oem tob.

The clutch is extremely weird to drive this way, can anyone chime in on drive ability with this issue? Or should it not be driven? Did 1st gear Rev and it seems like it's not dragging but just feels extremely odd.

Have you checked the clutch pedal assembly for play? The bushings in the pedal assembly are known to wear out and cause odd shifting.

Yeah, I've had a bad pedal assembly in my old awd. This one has no play and the MC rod moves as soon as pedal is pushed.

Honestly, to me it seems like it's not getting enough throw for the slave. Might need to drop, and shim or replace all with oem parts. I feel as the tob may be contributing to this pedal feel. Before my old tob busted, it was a normal pedal throughout the entire range.
