I finally picked up my first 9mm Glock about a month ago (G19c) and had a little Glock photoshoot this morning. Next addition to the group will be a longslide 9mm. Either a 34 or a 17L. I also recently had some grip work done on the G24. Flattened backstrap, finger bumps removed, double undercut trigger gaurd, and a sweet stipple job. Such a nice improvement.

6" barrel length. Drilled for scope, but a laser grip will do.

Trying to upload a couple more, but for the first time tuners is not letting me.

I was looking at a red hawk, I really wanted a 44mag, I know I know, not practical for CCL, but I wanted one . I will conceal my wheel gun. I really chose the 357 to carry due to over penetration from a larger caliber.

Finally.

unless i'm mistaking, they dont make revolvers like that, my 357 you just pull the trigger.. :nono:

Yeah depending on what action you have. I keep it on that empty cylinder, but since its double action. I just pull the trigger and it rotates and fires. Haha I understand having your own taste, but maybe he need not speak of what he doesn't know. Keeping putting wheel guns down (for whatever reason) like comparing an AK47 to an AR15 to me.(The best way ive heard ot described is between a prom queen and a biker bi$$$ :D ) Having owned both. I know what is better :)

PS. I could put 6 in center mass before you could turn the safety off ;).

And since the .357 mag has one of the best stopping power. I shoot 180gr HP.

Just remember a well placed 38 round is 1000x better than a miss from a 45.

If you want stopping power, get a .500. But there is no substitute for being able to put multiple rounds downrange without much of a break. Exactly why every major armed force went to autos long ago. Sure a wheel gun looks great, but unless you get the first shot off, you're not gonna be very accurate when an attacker's bullets are flying around you

The .500 round will go through any part of your body and keep going. That's not really stopping power. That is the potential of hitting bystanders. He ce why I went for a .357 and not a 44mag.

Exactly. There is quite a difference between battle drill one and a defensive shooting scenario.

Yep, like the caliber difference btween a AK47 and a AK74. The 47 will more than likely to right through you, where as the smaller caliber 74 will bounce and seperate (much like the 5.56 in ar 15) when they first came out. We had no damn clue what was doing so much damage. Literally blowing parts of the body In half. It's really not the size. I just like what I like and I feel comfortable with and that should be the basis on any defensive gun buying because when shit hits the fan. Your going to need all the help you can get.

I don't know what it's like to be shot, but if 2 rounds of anything hits you square in the chest. Its going to be mentally and physically devastating. Just my .02

You must note the vast improvements and changes in rifle variations. The 5.56 doesn't react the same out the shorter barrel/gas system from the rifle 20" and carbine 14.5"/16". The 5.56x45 round is besy ballisticly being shot out of a 20" barrel. Also the round in the AK74 reacts the way it does because of how the projectile is designed. There is a small air pocket in the nose and a steel core behind it to stabilize the round. Once the round impacts the target it tumbles violently and unpredictably. Commercial ammo in 5.45x39 doesn't react the same way. Ballistic tests have shown soft point rounds for the AK47 variant rifles (7.62x39) do the most damage with some nasty energy transfer to tissue and surrounding organs. FMJ's suck in general for anything other than target practice or punching through mild cover a target may be using.

Oh, and just so I can hang with the cool kids. Here is my latest pistol....

I just picked up a GP100 stainless .357 with a 5" barrel (which doesn't "officially" exist ;)). The balance of the 4" barrel with more velocity.

Can't wait for it to get here so I can put some rounds through it. After that it's hiviz sights, a spring kit, classic grips, and a polish job.

BTW - Anyone have some 38 or 357 brass they want to trade? I have a crap ton of cleaned and polished 9mm and .45 ACP brass I could let go of.

Very nice!!!

Anyone else have their barrels/crowns engraved? Don't know where I would get that done at.

Any ideas on the side? Of crown?

Another one checking in. List is as follows:
-XD(m) .45acp in the 4.5'' barrel

-XD Sub-Compact .40 with Pachmayr tactical-grip glove and Pierce mag extension.

-Unnamed .410 bolt-action shotgun

-Unnamed .22 that I inherited from my dad, who got it from HIS dad, and is probably older than all three of us.

I've been thinking about picking up a Remington 870 or something of the like in a 12 gauge, just haven't gotten around to shopping around or pinching any pennies yet.

Look at your rifle. I have a old wards western field bolt action 22 under barrel load. After some research I figured out its a mossberg 46. Damn thing is OLD.

Just sent my moisen bolt off to get bent and modded so i can fit a real scope on. I'm not a fan of the long eye relief scopes. I'm going to make it into a long range sniper for pretty cheap. Ill post some pics when it's all done up.
