Hey i have a question. I want to powder coat my barrel on my modified mosin nagant a gloss back or machine grey. Do you think it will warp or hurt the barrel to cook at 400* for 25min?

I have no idea. You might want to get the opinion of a barrel turner for that one.

My SWAG is that it wouldn't hurt it (I've seen barrels get RED hot before) but please do not base your decision on my wild ass guess.

I can run 60 rounds through my ak so fast that the wood starts smoldering. Thing still shoots the same. But then again that's a ak not a 1938 mosin.

Hey, how do the new SD9s shoot? Similar to the Sigmas? Trigger pull not too heavy? Just newer generation type thing? Asking cause I'm interested in getting one or two myself in .40.

I second the Duracoat. It's pretty tough, I had one of my long rifles done in OD green and it looks great.

Bought a Sig Sauer Pro 2022 9mm. Nice gun, but honestly I don't like it very much. Impulse buy for the LOSE.
9mm is slightly cheaper to plink with than my ak47, and about 1% as fun. Lol.

Not bad. I'm gonna work my way up to the 50AE they chamber. My second hand gun is gonna be a .45.

Just want the 9mm to shoot for fun, better believe I'll have a special mag of hollow point for home defense though

.40 puts me in the major scoring class for competition, which is a huge benefit in speed shooting. Not to mention my carry Glock and previous XD were both .40, so I have many years of experience shooting that round often. It is one of my favorite rounds aside from 10mm. A nice medium between 9mm and .45acp.

As truly great as my .45 XD Tactical is, it is simply too damned big to carry concealed. If the shit hits the fan that's obviously not a concern but, in the meantime, I'm taking a long hard look at that XD-S as well..

leet, have you checked out the XDS yet? I handled one a few weeks ago at a Gander Mountain (overpriced). For as small as it is, it's pretty comfortable and super-concealable. Plus it shoots a big ol' bullet.
