WB02 install in MAFT gen 2 or link

Wondering what you guys think. I have a MAF translator gen 2 eprom ecu with link and an lc-2 wideband O2. Should I hook it to my ECU or the MAFT. Or do I have the installation wrong in my head and this doesn't matter?
