I just grabbed an 3/8 bspt female to 1/8 npt male adapter suitable for aftermarket gauges.
I wanted some input on how to optimize functionality. I have a drill press, and 1/8 npt tap if necessary.
I was thinking either counter sinking the sender unit, or really opening up the inside end of the adapter to maximize heat transfer and accuracy.
I have some pics of the parts.
I am dead set on installing it the spot where the thermo vacuum valve resides.
Counter sinking it will involve shaving the sender "head" to 11mm socket size down from 13mm.
