Ok i was drving my car and i noticed that the temp gauge was starting to go over normal. i turned the heat on all the way up and drove it down the road back to my house. I barely went over normal so i know i didnt do any damage. I noticed the fan wasnt kicking on. i looked at the plug to the water temp sensor and the wires came out of the plug itself. i cant fix the plug itself. I went to the dealer and tryed to get one from my work but no luck. what should i do? What if i just connect the two wires? should that work ? any help would be great thanks guys

I had the exact same propblem, what I did was first check and see how far up the wires are corroded. I ended having to replace the sensor wires all the way to the ecu. As far as the connector went, I found some gold female connectors and used shrink wrap to insulate the connectors. Good luck hope this helps!:D

i fixed the plug...the fan will not kick on...a friend of mine said there should be a plug on the bottom of the radator and he said if i hook them togher the fan should kick on as asoon as i start the car is this true? i was also wondering i dont have ac but the fan is there could i put that fan on the other side of the radator and see if it turns on the way it should ?
