I Have a stage 2 Snow performance water/meth kit. I have been running it for about 6 months with NO issues. The last past 2 months I have been doing an AWD SWAP on my gst. After 2 months of it sitting and with the rear end up on jack stans. I went to start it. and it dosnt wana start, had no compression...wired. So i pulled the intake manifold off and about 1/2QT OF 50/50 MIX OF WATER/METH POURED OUT!! Took the head off and tiped it over and ANOTHER 1/2QT OR WATER/METHONL POURED OUT OF THE INTAKE RUNNERS. Looks like it bent some valves....QUESTION: How in the world did this happend!!!! and How do i make sure this dose not happend again??

Snow performance recently released a new nozzle holder with a build in check valve which opens at 20psi if I remember correctly. It will prevent a gravity leak if nozzle is positioned lower than a water tank. Another option is a solenoid between a water tank and a pump. NOTE: snow performance stage 3 has an anomoly when confingured to use an EFI signal to control water injection. Intemittelty for no reason it detects higher than normal EFI impulse and it commands to inject water when it is not really needed. I had to configure boost signal only to control water injection.

Ah man that sucks, I was just looking around to see which Meth kit is the best, I read a few reviews on this happening with a few AEM Meth kits.

In this case, the fact that the rear end was up in the air for 2 months makes it sound like the fluid did indeed somehow just flow through the line into the intake. As others mentioned, I'm guessing the check valve would prevent this.

If you could jack the rear up again and just watch the nozzle to see if it leaks out without the pump on. Would be nice to confirm the exact failure point.

RESOLVED!!! The reason why my motor got hydrolocked was yes most of you were right. NO CHECK VALVE. It just drained into my intake slowly for 2 months without me knowing. I talk to snow performance and they explained to me that there was no internal check valve in the pump. I thought there was...Well The ONLY way to prevent this from happening again would be NOT to jack up the rear end LOL. Or buy a solenoid to install between the resivor and pump. Snow performance soleniod part number is 40060.
50$ solenoid killed my head :( Ill have it back up and running within a few weeks ... or months :D
