Wastegate stuck open.

My wategate o my brand new evo16g from slowboy is stuck open so that ill only build up to 5psi and it takes forever to get there. how can i fix this? can i just bend the rod? i called slowboy and they havnt returned my call yet. I know for sure this is what is wrong thanks to all the helpfull DSM'rs around here. I did a search but didnt really find any good answers, and would like to fix it withou pulling the turbo off it at all possible.

I would make SloBoy fix the problem. I realize it would mean removing the turbo, but if you adjust anything, you'll lose any right to return it.
