hey guys, so the guy who had the car before me had a boost controller on it. I noticed it was boosting to 21 psi so i removed it and ran a straight line from the j-pipe to the wastegate. it is still boosting to 21 psi. so is it safe to say my wastegate is stuck shut?

also figured i would mention where the gauge is T'd into is the vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator if that makes any difference.

I'm thinking the diaphragm is busted. The line doesn't have a whole lot of room to leak. Found a used 14b on Craigslist for $40 that needs a rebuild but I can still use the wga from it. however now that i look at it, i think the fp one would be nice. i may get a walbro 255 while im at it for safety. can someone link me to the rewire thread. in the tuning guide it just goes to a page not found.

Go with a 190lph pump if you're not getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator which is a requirement with the 255. Otherwise you go pig rich at WOT, because the ECU cannot compensate for the additional fuel.

And the rewire basically takes the stock main wire for the pump and turns it into a trigger wire for the relay, which will now control your fresh bigger wires.

Forgot to mention previous owner put in a 2g maf, chip, and supposedly evo injectors if that makes a difference. I'd really like to get Dsm link on this car but there's so much other shit wrong with it at the moment. The rear end pinion bearings are going out. 2nd gear grind, engine is pulling low compression numbers. Etc :(
