Wastegate actuator for 7cm housing

I recently replaced my turbine housing. I have a big 16g which had a 6cm housing. It now has a 7cm housing. The problem is that the hole on the wastegate actuator is now too small for the arm on the housing. Should I just drill the hole a little bigger or doo I need a new actuator?

Just drill it out and install it.

Is my wastegate flapper supposed to be slightly open when it's all hooked up? I'm thinking I have the wrong actuator.

No it isn't the wrong one. Any tdo5 actuator should work on any tdo5 turbo. I would just put some washers between the actuator and the compressor housing to shim it closed. There should actually be spring tension holding it closed.

Sounds to me like you're installing a knockoff turbine housing on a MHI turbo, hence the reason the stud is larger on the actuator lever.

Thanks I spaced it out and it worked great. Now I just have to figure out how my shifter linkage managed to disassemble itself while my car was sitting for a week. :/
