Question: If the wastegate actuator arm pin broke, and eventually the actuator arm comes off, will that affect your engine in any serious ways? or just not let the car boost or?

Thanks

Without the arm to hold it in place, the flapper will blow open and prevent the turbo from building boost.

alright, thanks guys. The stupid pin that holds the arm on broke today when i was disconnecting it, and figured i would be safe than sorry down the road with the engines(blew the engine in my Talons TSI) LOL :D

Bailing wire!!!

You'll want to do something, because your car will not boost at all. It'll be less powerful than a non-turbo DSM.
