I just picked up a nice looking 14B off of a Galant from a local car guy here in NJ. It didn't have the wastegate actuator when I picked it up, so we took one off of a 13G he had laying around. I also have my stock T25 in the basement and am thinking about taking the actuator off of that.

My question is, is the boost level different between the T25 and 13G actuators?

I know they both should bolt right on. When I install the pile of new parts I have I'd like to run ~20 psi, so whichever actuator has the highest base pressure would be preferable for me.

I think the 13b is slightly bigger than the T-25 but don't quote me on that. The 1g cars had a larger turbo from the start so I'll assume it has a stronger actuator as well. I would honestly just throw either one on since you'll be putting a MBC on anyway.

The biggest t25 compressor wheel (the t-25 60 trim) flows under 25 lbs/min. . .

The 13G compresor wheel (the TD04 13G) max flow is OVER 350 cfm.

cfm X .08 ≈ lbs/min. So the 13G compressor flows over 28 lbs/min.

lbs/min X 10.5 ≈ HP. So t25 => 263 hp max. And 13G => 295 hp max. 32 hp difference!!! A little upgrade for sure.

But none of this matters, if the hotside doesn't flow this much air. Do some research on the td04hL wheel and update us .

So the 13G is slightly bigger

As for the waste gate actuator...according to this....It does not fit

I am doing a bit of reading and researching and it seems as it would fit only if you make a custom bracket for it...

WTB - Wastegate actuator for a TD04-13G

I also read that on another forum...Just can't find the link.

There's a link for everything ;-) You just gotta know how to search Google for different sites and make sure all the info matches up.
