Alright... about a month ago I overheated the car and it acted like I blew the head gasket. The coolant was really nasty... and my oil looked like chocolate syrup... We pulled the hg and it looked fine, but replaced it... did all the belts, and a list of other small crap. We ended up reassembling the engine after lots of little replacements here and there. After we got it all back together... we started it up, and was running somewhat rough, and was putting out some white smoke. (I'm summarizing this whole scenario) Anyways, we believe that the head probably warped when this originally happened. I picked up a newly rebuilt head finally (tonight) and should put it on within the next week... I'm not trying to sound like an idiot saying all of this... But my real question is... Is there anything else that I could be overlooking that could be the root of my problems? Any input is appreciated...

i wouldn't reuse the 2G headbolts though, as they are stretchable.
