Wants to start but wont please help

The other day I pulled my talon into the garage to fix a little water leak and replace a throttle cable to eliminate the cruise control. I also took the upper ic pipe off to mock up and possibly make a new one that would allow me to make a newer better one. Then for whatever reason the car wouldn't start. It sounded like it wasn't igniting so i checked the spark and none. So I replaced the ignition coil and that got the spark. but it still wouldn't turn over all the way because of the battery taking a dump on me. Got a new battery and now it cranks and it catches like it wants to start, and sometimes it will go to like 1000 rpms before it dies, but it wont actually start. I have unplugged the fuel return and watched it yep i have fuel i put the intake all together and boost tested it its fine. I checked for vac leaks. I checked the timing, the wires, replaced and gaped the plugs. It just kinda did this all of the sudden any other ideas this is kinda my daily driver so i need it by 6 tomorrow and I have been messing with it and bumming rides for two days now. I posted a vid so you can see what im talking about sry about the sound quality its a cell phone camera too close to the engine.

I know you said the intake pipe is back together, but sorry I have to ask. Is the Maf plugged back in? I'm not at all trying to be a jurk, but sometimes we all miss the simple things.

I had a similar problem and it was the coolent temp sensor. I also had a tps go bad but it would still start it was just difficult to get it goin. It would be a good idea to check both

Don't worry about it i got it back together iand I did check it i cleaned the MAF too thanks. And I will check that coolent temp sensor I might have an extra laying around I'll have to try that because my multimeter has broken leads. Thanks all

picked up a new coolant temp sensor from the parts store and no difference. Still just catching getting ready to start and then nothing. goes back to cranking i have been looking on you tube for a car with a smiler sound but to no avail.

i replaced the cts and it still didn't do anything and then later on i found out that what is going on is that its running too rich. i unplugged the fuel pump and it starts it runs but it blows white smoke its still running so rich. I have spent the last couple days eliminating stuff. I suspect the MAF but before i try that does it throw a code? and im thinking about putting in a 3" gm maf but i haven't bought the translator yet. What else could make me run so rich that it floods and wont start. I'm not throwing any codes but we all know how reliable that is.
