PLEASE HELP car wont start :'(!!!

hey guys please help i just got done putting my car together today for the first time i tryed to start it it wants to start and it does but dies within a second... only time it runs is if i hold the ignition key all the way down !!! and now i think my starter just went !!! its making the sound that its coming on but its not engaging any help please i have FIC 950cc DSMLINK v3 stock mass air flow none hacked !!! im so down !! any help would be great

I am not exactly sure if these DSM's are the same as another car I had.
But not having the air intake hooked up correctly caused the same type of problem for me.
if you think the starter is bad.. why?
does it just make a clicking sound?.. that might just be because the battery is low.

did you just hook these 950cc injectors?
they might not be installed correctly.

We need more info before we can help you. What exactly is the starter doing, what all do you have done to the car/did to the car recently. etc etc

Check your timing, Compression, make sure everything is hooked up correctly, no vacuum/boost leaks, and then check your ecu for bad/leaking caps.

i just had my whole motor done up stage 5 head, hks 272 cams, 20g turbo, fp mani, ss o2 housing, 1mm oversized valves, .020 bored, cut crank,light weight flywheel, i also have a magnus sheet metal intake...im running stock maf for fuel i have the fic 950's ... that all that i can think of atm... what do u mean i might have the injectors installed wrong ??? ... my car only idles or runs when the key is turned all the way to turn on the car when i let go of it as i would normally with ANY car my car just dies within a second... my starter is now turning on but its not engaging almost feels like i broke the teeth of .... PLEASE PLEASE any advice ... im also running dsmlink v3 idk whats wrong !!

I doubt the starter is bad, check your voltage on the battery, and test it while your cranking to see ho nuch it drains, if its not star on it could be a sensor somewhere, use your link to see If there's any reading that isnt normal, and like everyone is saying do the basic tests! I figured out my problem whyvi couldn't getnit to idle today I check and double checked everything and it was fine but I had forgotten to put my oil filter on

, man thats as bad when I forgot to install my turbos oil drain pipe. Luckily I saw oil pour out of the pan before I started it.
