ok so my timing was right on, i have the fuel pressure, and i have spark. today im gonna check my compression and im gonna get a scanner to check my timing with the comp. does anyone have any idea's?

did you forget to hook up any sensors? maybe you are flooding the motor with those big ass injectors and too much fuel pressure... Have you tried turning down your fuel pressure or switching back to your 450's just to check? Does it stutter at all when its trying to start, or just steady cranking and nothing else? Maybe you left a vac line disconnected....

It looks to me like you just forgot to plug something back in... Check it out again and try what I said...

ps... Do you have gas? Do you smell gas when its trying to start? Do you smell ALOT of gas?

I had a similar problem when i swapped in an EPROM ecu. hook up a datalogger to your car and pull up all the readings, making sure that all the sensors you can see are reading fine. Remember that for an engine to run you need 3 main components: Fuel, Air, Spark. You can check to make sure those injectors are working properly and your engine is getting fuel by pulling out the sparkplugs and cranking the engine. Gas should shoot out the spark plug holes. If you do this make sure you have someone to crank for you and a rag around. Air is almost impossible to mess up so i think your fine there, and you already mentioned that your getting spark. If it still doesn't work then start checking sensors and make sure you dont have your cams 180 degrees backwards and such things like that. Goodluck

well i just checked everything over yet again, and my compression is 90 psi all the way across. obviously my timing is off a tooth or two. so ill remove the belt and try again

ok well today i checked my timing agian and my timing was right on the money, my compression was 90 all the way across, and im stuck....give me some ideas for tomorrow

also if it helps with the new headgasket and arp headstuds i torqued them down to 25, then losen to 0, 50 then losen to 0, 75 then losen to 0, then 90 ft. /lbs

If the compression is 90 and the timing is correct, then I can tell you its probably not going to start. The service limit is like 126 or somewhere close to that. You need to see where the compression is going. Did you do a wet test also?. If not try that and see if the comp numbers jump up.

i gotta grab a gauge again and ill check it on monday, but with anyone with arp head studs i did torque it correctly right?:talon:

great news early last week i was messing around with the car and she fired right up...lets just say it was something really stupid and leave it at that..im working on her right now and she should be done by tomorrow at latest and ill upload a video of her running :) thanks for the help
