Alright,
I just came upstairs from my garage a little perplexed. I was dropping my engine in (newly acquired 4g63t) into my also newly acquired CSM (89 Mirage GT). Now, I went to drop it in though, and only ONE of the engine mounts lined up. Maybe I am an idiot to dropping in engines, but the exhaust manifold side engine mount on the subframe is about 3 inches to far towards the cabin, the driver side upper mount is 2 inches to far forward (towards the front of the car), the transmount is 2 inches to far backward and I am stuck again. I tried fudging around with the position of the engine but there's no way in ..... that it's going to fit properly, unless I am missing something. Does someone have a good engine bay pic of a 1g? Especially of the motor mounts? This would help for reference.
Also, if there are CSM'ers out there, I'd like to get some help. Also, I'm trying to get on 4g61t.org but still waiting for activation. Thanks in advance!
