ok so i have a stock gst and i was wondering what supporting mods will i need for an evo III turbo? and good brands for each item please

You can run the 16g on stock/lower boost but I wouldn't advise doing it for long. My list would be this after routine maintenance.

1) Something to tune with, Ecm link
2) Innovative wideband 0/2
3) Walbro 190 lph/255/supra tt pump if you can do stuff yourself.
4) Evo 560 injectors/fic 650's/680 something around there..maybe bigger if you plan on going bigger later.
5) pr fmic.
6) mhi 16g
7) 2g maf
8) 3" exhaust..custom made with a magnaflow bullet muffler and resonater
9) dyno tune.

Oh and a boost gauge and controller. Choices are only limited to you as long as it isn't cheap ebay JDM crap.

ok dude im a beginner and dont know what#2 3 5 6 are LOL and this is a dumb thing to ask but when you say 2g MAF does that mean the MAF i have in my 2g eclipse? i know how to do basic repairs just new to like this mod stuff and having a badass car kinda stuff LOL

well its just the stock i believe t25 turbo and i want to upgrade from it...

thank you aproduction, i bought an air/fuel ratio gauge in my car right now from glowshift idk if its like the one you guys are talking about

i sayed my car was stock isnt that what comes stock for a 4g63 engine?

ok man im putting this in wordpad and saving it, and gonna going down spoolins list slowly LOL i still have questions just one second let me write all this get all of this

the injectors go for like 100 each right? if i get a 255 fuel pump do i need a certain size injectors? and what exhaust is the best sounding for a gst anyone know?

No its a 100 or so for 4 injectors. And no you don't need certain injectors but you will need a fuel pressure regulator to control that fuel pump. The 190 fuel pump you could just rewire and be okay i think.

i dont know what you guys mean by rewire can i get a summary of what happens please?

Supporting mods: Tech Guide: 2G 4G63t Upgrades - DSMtuners

i dont know what you guys mean by rewire can i get a summary of what happens please?

Fuel pump rewire: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/313914-2g-fuel-pump-rewire-pictorial-diagram.html and/or http://www.raktron.com/fuel/rewire1.html

From the VFAQ: Rewiring the fuel pump with a larger gauge wire can help the stock pump (or any aftermarket pump) maintain higher fuel pressure/volume throughout its' entire operating range, as the stock wire is pretty small. The small wire limits the voltage to the pump, and under high boost, the lower voltage can severely affect fuel output. Some people have measured 10 volts or less at the pump under high boost with the stock wiring. Adding a larger wire and relay to feed the pump can restore the voltage to that of the battery (usually 13-14V), maximizing pump output.

So, how do you do it? It's pretty simple - just add a larger gauge wire (anywhere from 12 to 8 gauge will help, the larger the better, though 10ga seems to work fine for most people) from the battery, and run it to a relay mounted near the pump. Then cut the stock 12V wire leading to the pump, and splice the relay inline.

Just an FYI, to max a 16g you would need most all of the mods that have been suggested. If you just want to run it at wastegate pressure, or a bit higher (12psi is wastegate pressure, 12-15 would fine) you can run it.

I am running a 16g and the only thing I HAD to upgrade was my shitty plastic 2g blow off valve. And evo 8 one will work and is a direct swap. Most other blow off valves will require an adapter if your using stock intercooler pipes. The evo one looks the same but will hold more pressure.

Now that being said, I wasn't happy and kept going. But the 16g was a hell of an upgrade over the t-25 (stock 2g DSM turbo) The spool up is about the same, but the air volume feels like its at least twice the t-25.

Wow! Pretty covered topic. But anyways. What's your goal, that will determine your parts and your hp goal without that what you need right now is irrelevant.
If your just looking for a good dd I would say 190 pump, 550 or 650 injectors, intercooler, egg xaust, logger and tune. But that's just on a safe and easy ride. I might be forgetting something else but that's pretty much needed for just street :sneaky:

FYI my nephew is running big16g with just exhaust, intake and 12 psi. Everthing is good so far over 2 years. But he doesn't even push it. Just an example.

ok my main goal is to have a quick car and not get shit talked all the time for my car not being as fast as most kids cars my age and i constantly get thumbsed down by hondas which makes me want the day that i roll up next to them at a light i will smash them!!! so ya basically want a fast car for the street not gonna touch the body though just performance:) and sorry if its a covered topic i just started getting into mods and really would like descriptive help to help me get a better understanding. and if i would get an big 16g turbo i would want to push it and want my car to be able to handle full boost nicely

also i went and looked at dsmtuners.com stage 1 guide and i went to shop for some parts to get estimates and alot of the parts dont have a specific website. also would it be a bad idea to get just a pipe for air filter to turbo for 3g's on dejonpowerhouse.com and put it in my 2g, two reasons are because its cheaper and i dislike the honeycomb LOL

and where are you guys finding evo injectors for 100 bucks?

Look on ebay for a nice set of used Evo injectors. Theres always a few sets up sale on there.
And I'd recommend the mhi EVO III 16g turbo if you are getting any type of 16g. Just so you know the EVO III model 16g flows a little more air and a slight bit more at higher rpm's also. Just sayin =)

I dont want to say to much of whats already been said. So evo3 16g go to extremepsi.com. You should check out the clssifield section on here, I dont know what your budget is like but there is a lot of deals there. I would skip the evo injectors and atleast go with 650cc.

you don't need a 3g mass or pipe. You already have a 2g mass which flows enough to support the hp you want. I would leave the honeycomb and a good used 14b ported would be a vast improvment over the t25 but I'd just go 16g with proper mods.

if you decide not to go off the wastegate psi. you should invest in a manual boost controller (mbc). I recommend halman pro rx.
