Walbro 190 or 255?

I cant decide which to get, either a 190 and not have to buy an fpr, or get the better 255 and buy the fpr, I guess the fpr is a good mod to have down the road anyways.

I dont have any fuel upgrades atall, I am running 14-15psi with no problems.

Now with completing my futurer mods, ( not in that order) I would figure I would be around 375 crank hp with boost around 18psi, walbro 190 is good for 400hp, but should I go for overkill and get the 255. and lastly what hp have people gone upto with small 16g

300 whp is my goal. I'm sticking to it and my 190 pump. Why spend the extra money if you don't have to? A FPR is around $100 why not spend it where you need it? Ask yourself what is your real goal?

It think a tuned 16g can support 300 whp in our cars. Tuned to the max on race fuel...?
 
a small 16 supports 365 hp underrated, big 16g and evo can pull 400 easy, not even on the highest octane either
 
a rewired 190 will be fine with either a 14b or 16G. I sure as hell wouldn't spend extra cash on the AFPR if my goals weren't higher than a 50 trim. matter of fact is, most ppl with modest goals [ like you and I with 300 whp in mind ] will never make full use of a 255
