I have the option to get a barely use 190 walbro for $40. I want to stick with my 14b because i'm only 17 and i dont need tooo much power. With a 190, will i be able to max out the boost on my 14b? And if it can, do i need larger injectors or will the stock ones suffice? :talon:

you can use your stock regulator and injectors with the 190 but for the 255 you mite need a adjustable fpr depending how your car reacts to it, and your 14b can hold good boost atleast till you demand more power

the reason i dont want to get a 255 is because i need to get a fpr and being 17, cash is low
i'm just wondering if the 190 can keep up with full boost on a 14b with stock injectors
"research twice buy once" is how i'm lookin at it

I don't know if you will be able to max out the 14b, but the 190 should be able to support some decent boost. From personal experience, I installed my 255 and it blew out my stock fuel regulator forcing me to get an AFPR. If money is tight, then I'd definitely go with the 190.

The 190lph should support around 400awhp give or take.
Good luck getting there with a 14b, -not impossible but very unlikely. I'd shoot for something more reasonable, maybe say around 325awhp.

You should get a set of Evo 560cc injectors, or a used set of 650s.
You will also need to be able to tune for the injectors, so get a used SAFC II and a logger.

You can run the 190, not that it's going to make much difference, the stock pump and 450s pretty much hit their limits at the same time. Until you have the cash for a tuning solution you won't be able to do much else. You can't put bigger injectors in or change the fuel pressure without something to allow you to retune the car.

i'm just guna save up and do the 255 with a fpr and then go from there
why not just buy a part that i wont have to upgrade later yeah?
