has anyone every used a voodoo boost controller?. I see them on e bay for like 9 buck. Do they have any boost spike problems?

I have one. I bought the expensive one... hehe a whole 12 dollars.
Its a quality boost controller. powerder coated, and a nice hardware with it. You probably couldn't make one any cheaper...

I made one for $5. I had some parts lying around that I didn't have to buy. But mine isn't fancy or powdercoated or anything, but I didn't have to wait for shipping. I guess it's give and take. Do what's easier for you.

i got one. my buddy said not to buy one and he'll make me one. he took too long so i bought one, powder coated red. cool little sticker with it.
had it on all summer
works like a charm!

Yea i have one too... comes with some VooDoo MBC www.manualboostcontroller.com decal or something rather to the point. No problems thus far, although I wouldnt tap your BOV line like the direction say too..IMHO. This kit only came with the MBC and some zip ties.....so you have to buy some hose... but a quality product for like 9$:dsm:

any one else running one of these???
I put one on my other car and it worked fine, and still does. it'll go as low as 5psi and it'll just go up in psi from there. Very good unit; I laugh at those who spend oogles of money on brand name ones LOL.

I have the sbr one but it works the same, and I havent had any issues either.
Its just hard to set your boost to right were you want it at first, you have to play with it.
When you get it, start with the screw all the way loose so it will be low boost, then slowly tighten it every pull more and more till it goes to were you want it.
( Basically, less tight= less boost, more tight = more boost )
My first attempt it hit 20lbs which wasnt what I had in mind LOL since im on trying to run 15 till I get a fmic .
