nope..those are smoked..they are much darker in real life...its the ligths outside that made them shine so bright...If you look at them when the car is shut down and there is no sunshine on them..they are very darkgrey...not clear.I have seen clears too and these are not clears...Sory for the bad pics though..I will get another one..tried them on my GS..hang on...

see...smoked as I said ;-)The all clear ones ar elike the backup ligt in this pic...there you see the difference between smoked and clears pretty well... These below are all clear ones:

Oki..i misunderstood you probably...You wanted pics of stock red tails that have been smoked? Is this right?
Well if hats the case..that is the easiest of all to do..just go out and buy spray that is made for that purpose..and spray thin layers of it on your cleaned tails...til you get the darkness you want.Piece of cake.I did the same to my old GS when I wanted all red lights instead of the amber ones we got here...No big thing really...

On the two pics above I have posted "all clear ones" and "smoked clear ones"....thats what I thought you meant..*sorry*

For other reference, I smoked/tinted my tail lights if that even matters And i did mine a long time ago....

oh ok, i see what you mean now from that last pic, but the way the light was in the 1st ones they seriously looked clear, thanks bro, i just wanted to see how they looked on a 2G, because i think thats the first time i have seen them. i think ill just keep my stockers, minus the ECLIPSE in the middle thanks for the pic though
i actually did want pics of smoked stock tails, to see how they looked on top of the red. i always wanted to see how they look on my car, but i will probably just play with a pic of mine in photoshop a little and see if i cant get a good idea of how they would look. but thanks for the help bro

Here its ok to have clears as long as they light up red and the turnsignal is ok as well as the brakes.This means you have to have red bulbs or leds in them to make it shine red during driving.Thats also why the celars osmetimes look a little redish when you see htem on..the bulbs shine through a little.

I just love my smoked tails cause they follow the colortheme of the car perfectly..but hey thats me

i tinted my tail lights. Got some apc altezzas from a friend and sprayed window tint on them, it came out pretty nice but i need to get like a wax coat or soemthing over them so they dont get ugly and scratched off. i should have pics in a lil bit

Hey man....I talked to you before about htose covers....I couldnt ge them from the shop you said..they wont ship here..so do you still have yours available or have you sold htem?

Use 'VHT Nite shades'. Spray can. Spray it over with acrylic clear coat that you buy at hobby/model stores, or try using regular clearcoat paint.

tonight decided to spray paint my orange and red tails all red look good cept for the damn bugs that got stuck to the lights..... now i was thinking whats the best way to get these bugs off while still having it looks good? wet sand? what can i do to keep the red paint on under them but get the nasty dead embedded bugs off? let me know

I would try wet sanding it with a HIGH grit paper. Are they that bad you can't use a cleaner?

Ok I have seen some talons with the center piece of the light where it says Talon all black. Is this a custom thing, or can you buy a piece for that. If it is custom is it that hard of a paint job?
