i have a 93 auto awd tsi.
i have messed with and mbc for quite some time now. (knock off turbo smart one with the check valve) and i can never get it right. so i put the bcs back to exactly how it goes. i know the wastegate is fine, ive checked it with an air compressor. so the car is all stock.
BUT! when driving (in any gear) when i hit around 2,000 to 2,500 rpm i am stuck. accelerating during that time does nothing but make the car roar and the rpms are stuck and my boost climbs immediatly to 7-9 psi. unless i push it to the floor, then it moves to 3,000rpm and climbs extremely slow after that but at least it climbs and boost is still the same. getting off the gas results in blow off.
when the mbc was in i set the booost to 15. it does the same thing as it was at 7 and even when put at infinite boost. it once climbed to about 25psi
and was still stuck at 2,000rpm and it only took like 2/3 seconds.
WHAT IS WRONG!?
please give me some ideas. thanks
