my timing belt is dry. i don't fave the top timing cover,. just the bottom piece. but the belt is dry. what is the ring blowby?how do you check for oil compression? thanks in advance! its my first DSM.. :/

there is some oil coming from the front side of the block..but from the driver side area

It is possible to have oil leaks on the timing side without having observable oil on the belt. I would still pull the cover.Additionally, if you had the front case off during your service, you can have leaks from there, or the OFH. How is your oil pressure?

oil pressure should be good... there is no light of oil on d dash. i probably need to take that cover as soon as i can..

Looks like it coming from the ofh area, look at the drip coming off the sending unit. Could also just be the oil pan. Does the oil pan have a gasket or just rtv?
it has a gasket and RTV on it..but it has some bolts that are broken. like three of them.

Likely your issue....

Hopefully not indicative of the work that was done. If so, there could be more than one leak.
