See if anybody can help me. I read before somewhere, I think on a Subaru forum, that you could vent your BOV back into the intake or turbo or somewhere and that it would help make more power. Kind of like a perpetual motion machine, you never loose the power. I've allready drilled and tapped a fitting into my BOV but I need to know where to send the line to so I can get it running again, I HAVE TO GET TO WORK! I know I messed up and jumped into before finding what I read before, but any help would be appreciated like a diagram or something.

also, would doing this mod make me have more of a chance for crankwalk? kthx!

I believe you have the wrong idea...

Its called recirculating.. and...

BOV's stock on our cars, WRX/STI, Evos.. come recirculated

All it does is move the air from the BOV back into the intake..

No need to tap BOVs

No it wont solve crankwalk... and no it wont had hp...

It won't help to make power, but it will prevent the power loss that is acquired through venting improperly.


Look at the BOV on a stockish 2G engine bay and you'll see what is probably missing on your car:
