Valve Spring Locators

So I tore my head apart today just to go through the car since I haven't and I just got it about a month ago and I realize that there are no valve spring locators on a couple of the valve springs. It doesn't look like it's done any damage yet but I think that it would have to at some point, right? I just don't want this thing to destroy a valve on me.

Are valve spring locators the same as the valve spring seats?

If you dont have them the spring can eat away at the soft aluminum of the head. It will dig into the head, the seat provides a way to distribute the force on the spring.

I would definitely gets seats for all your springs

Now add to it that the spring installed height is also off by .040 the thickness of stock spring seats.
so now those springs have even less spring tention and can bring on valve float at a lower RPM.
